Buffalo is an animatic and storyboarding study. The assignment given was to take the phrase “two kids get chased by a buffalo” and build a story around it. After creating a short story, a storyboard was created using black and white images. The storyboard images were scanned, enhanced in photoshop and then brought into Final Cut Pro to make a timed image sequence. A voice track was added to create the rough animatic. The original black and white images were given color, more images were added to the original sequence and music was added.
